【情景对话·商务外贸】 业务谈判

萨拉:
How did the first day`s negotiations go? Have you come to a compromise yet?
第一天的谈判怎么样?你们已经达成了妥协吗?
阿里:
Very slowly and painfully.
谈判非常缓慢而痛苦.
萨拉:
Why so?
为什么会这样?
阿里:
It`s like they`re trying to make these negotiations fail.
他们似乎在故意让谈判破裂!
萨拉:
Why would they act like that though? This deal is as important to them as it is to us.
他们为什么要这样做?这笔交易对他们和对我们一样重要.
阿里:
I know, but I think they are using these tactics to try and get us tired and impatient, and then try and get the terms of the contracts more in their favor.

萨拉:
So what`s the plan for tomorrow?

阿里:
To return and see if they are willing to be reasonable and hope fully come to a mutually beneficial agreement.

萨拉:
Well, I hope so, as their tactic is working, as management is getting impatient at the slow progress.
嗯.希望如此.因为他们的战术正在起作用.管理层对缓慢的进展开始感到不耐烦了.
阿里:
I know as I`ve already given them a debriefing about the situation.
我知道.因为我已经给了他们一份形势报告.
